The BowWow PowWow occurs in the busy Adams Morgan commercial corridor at the Marie Reed School on 18th Street NW. Last year, some 3,000 people from the D.C. metro area learned how to care for and pamper their pets while perusing gifts, merchandise, and services, plus food by local vendors and restaurants.

The BowWow PowWow is a fun, family-friendly event designed to educate and appreciate the Adams Morgan community. Festivities include educational components on pet health,  training, and behavior modification. Plus Dancing Dog team and agility!  Also pet-themed storytelling for children, info on pet fostering and adoption, and an EOD working K-9 team. 11 dog contests with 11 prizes!! 

Adams Morgan MainStreet seeks vendors that offer dog and pet-related services like training, products, gifts, toys, and pet education, and also some targeted arts and crafts vendors.

• Animal Rescue Groups/Non-Profit Organizations
